Report Register (Maker)

The Report Register is used in following conditions:-

  1. To make new Report.
  2. To make modifications in the existing report.
  3. To see the list of reports already made.

 

The attributes of list of reports is as follows:-

Selection: This checkbox is used to select the particular list for modification/deletion. You can select multiple reports by checking these check boxes.

 

ID: ID is the unique identifier of individual report. This will show the report ID which is already made.

 

Code: Code is the name of the report. The name must be unique.

 

Frequency: It is the frequency of generation of report. It is basically the time-duration after which  the report is generated.

Let if frequency is set as monthly, it means that the report is to be generated for each

month.

 

Division: Division indicates the logical departments of the company for which the software is configured.

 

Section: Section is the sub-part of Division.

 

McStatus: It is the state of data/report which indicates about the state of data. The following three encoding is used to indicate the states of data:-

 

­M = Modified

N = New

D= Delete

 

Maker: Maker is the author or designer of the report.

 

Maker Date: Date of creating the report.

 

Buttons on this form:-

Authorised: After clicking this button it will open a list of Reports which are authorized by the Administrator.

Add: To make new report

Delete: To delete existing report. You have to check the reports that are to be deleted and then press delete. The report will be deleted.

Exit: To exit from the report register.

Go: This utility is used to find the report by passing appropriate parameter.
