Report Register (Author)

 

This is report register author frame.

This shows a list of unauthorized reports. All the unauthorized reports are listed here with description. To view detail click this.

 

This form is used to authorize reports,  if it is new or re-authorize, if it is modified. 

 

Authorization of report is needed to maintain consistency. In this strategy data is not modified in the original copy and all modifications are stored at one temporary location. After ensuring that the changes made by the user is not violating the integrity constraints only after that the report is authenticated and changes are reflected into the original copy of the report.

 

After making new entry or modifying existing report, the data is entered into  a temporary table. Once the report is authorized only after that the data is committed to the original location of the table (main table).

 

To authorize the report follow the instructions given below:-

  1. Check the selection of the report which is being authorized.
  2. Click “Authorise”.
  3. The report is authorized.
  4. To verify you can click “Authorised”, a new form with authorized form is opened.

 

 

Buttons on this form:-

Authorise: To authorize a modified or new report.

Authorised: To see the list of all authorized reports.

Reject: To reject the selected report.

Exit: To come out from the form.
